Indomie Generation: Who Exactly Are They?

I have (always) noticed this trend of being called indomie generation when one is (totally) clueless on some “historical” subject.

I like to think I am old enough to be old, yet I still have some friends and colleagues calling me Indomie generation.

A little about Indomie: (From Wikipedia)

Indomie was first introduced to Indonesia in 1972. In 1988, it debuted in the Nigerian market via export and proceeded to open its first Nigerian factory under Dufil Prima Foods.

Suffice to say, Indomie is 31YEARS OLD IN NIGERIA.
